Arrowroot is a healthier alternative to cornstarch as a thickener. Try it in puddings, gravies, and sauces. Babies and invalids digest it easily. Add a little to cakes for a lighter texture! It is also a common ingredient in dusting powder and moisturizers to help penetrate into the skin. MY FAVORITE application is for deodorant! I can make my own for pennies & it REALLY works. Mix up ¼ C of arrowroot, ¼ C of baking soda, 3T of coconut oil & 10 drops of any essential oil. No more STINK!
